I've not really looked at these games but tonight I played #3 on my sisters PS3 and really enjoyed it. I'm not in a position to buy a console but would like to know if these are available on PC.

Googling doesn't really give me much.

One of the last proprietary IPs Sony has. It won't be going anywhere other than PlayStation ever, unless they sell the rights.

That does look special, I only ever played the second one I think...

I won't buy a PS4 though.

Yeah, I think buying a system for a single game (or even a couple of games) when you already have a decent PC just isn't worth it. I'll simply watch it on YT with a friend when it comes out, it plays just like a movie anyways:D

Just playing through the trilogy now.

Nearly finished the second one and finished the first a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, despite my lack of aiming skill with a joypad. But I'm getting better and already have The Last Of Us and a few other PS3 exclusives ready and waiting.

I have to say that if you are playing on a decent TV from the sofa, they still look very good, despite the age of the hardware and the game's themselves.

As good as they are they can get a little frustrating at times, with bullet sponge enemies and silly boss battles that take even more bullets and QTE's to defeat.

Uncharted are great games. I always love the Nathan Drake character. He's obviously a bit of an Indiana Jones rip off but still very good.

You should be more upset about not being able to play The Last of Us though :D

When you think you can pick up a second hand PS3 for £40 and the Uncharted games are less than a fiver second hand, then it's not really any more expensive than the price of PC games in Steam.

Yeah, but I was talking about getting a PS4 for Uncharted 4 alone. I had a PS3 back in the days when I was a bit more into games than now and managed to complete the first two games. Unfortunately, my console had decided that it's fed up with working properly before Drake's Deception was released:p

Naughty Dog games are worth owning a Playstation for, they'll never hit the PC as they are the lead firstparty studio for Sony.

The combat looks as boring as ever. They are great games with a good story and characters, but the combat becomes really repetitive after a while. Looks like the new one is almost identical in this regard.

I'll probably pick up a PS4 when they released a slim version for a cheaper price at some point like I did with PS3.

Yeah couldn't agree more. For me the combat sections are always things I need to suffer through in order to progress the story/characters, lol. Quite odd that I love the games so much really when I read that.
