Tesla parked opposite my house - looked very well used and had a massive crack in the windscreen

Saw a Tesla Model S out in the countryside the other day. Something like a Leaf would have been pushing it for range, but not for these. Still don't like the screen in the dash though.

Spent a few days in Berlin and spotted this awesome classic Merc being used as a taxi. As all taxis are the same colour out there, does anyone know if they are bought like that, or do they need to be wrapped/resprayed before use?

The trip also really highlighted the difference in how we spec cars compared to the Germans (as Fox has regularly highlighted before). Nearly every 1 series I saw had tiny wheels, yet Xenon headlights, and in my very limited time there I saw more F01 7 series that weren't a 730D (they had dual large exhausts) than I've ever seen in the UK.

The only red XKR-S GT in the world apparently!

Quite a few rare BMWs, an i8, an original Quattro and a number of TVRs all on site for owners day today :D

RHD is rare aswell, initially it was US & Canada only.

Im sure Evo mag has just driven a red one thats in the JLR SVO vehicle collection they bought, different wheels and number plate.

Pretty sure they're like that from the factory. Mercedes and more recently VW, have been producing cars as taxis from the factory.

Either way, the colour is Hellelfenbein, RAL 1015 if you're interested :p

Indeed. Very much unlike the style over substance you find in the UK.
However, there are a lot more F10 M Sports around than there were E39s or E60s, so for some cars it's changing slowly.

Either way, SEs outnumber Sports significantly. And that's on all cars.

Saw one in Leamington Spa the other day, which is quite far from the nearest official supercharger. I think the ability to install a charger in your home is a big plus for many of the people who buy them outside of major cities.

I've started to see electric charging stations at newly built/refurbished supermarkets too. My local sainsburys must have about 15 charging slots for electric vehicles. Does anyone know if you can charge a Tesla on them or if it's a different standard?

Saw a burgundy XJ220 today on the A44 near Pershore earlier. Wasn't able to grab a pick as I was driving in the opposite direction.

I know for a fact this is a Ford Thames - spotted it on the road up to Elgin earlier today:

Now "I think" this is a Peerless GT - can anyone else advise:

If I'm right then I believe there was only about 325 examples ever produced!
