I done a fair bit of research from books and the internet and so far so good, as long as you have stable water parameters to go with a good marine setup the tank should take off, i test my water every two days being a new tank and all is going good so far, you just got to take things slowley with a marine tank:)

Got this from OCUK today



Using all my old parts to build a Linux machine. My puppy had chewed the end of my spare PSU so this was the final piece of the puzzle.

All built up. Creating a Linux boot USB as I type



It's an i7 3770k
16Gb RAM
gtx 980
An old 1Tb HDD
and this new PSU.

Hoping it'll be OK as a Linux or steam machine. :)
 
Another rare case to add to my collection, not sure what i'm gonna do with it but for the time being into storage till my next project. Will probably get internals powder coated first and then store.

After gutting it of hardware cost me nowt :)

Popped out to get a cheap rubbish wired keyboard so I can reinstall OSX as it wasn't picking up my BT one but ended up buying a cheap 24" asus monitor as well. My WFH setup is weak, with just me normally using macbook on coffee table. Back doesn't like me anymore because of that.

This is much better.
