Why is this forum so good ?

I cant understand why, been here for a good number of years now and its the only place that has remained consistent in that I check more times than I should.

So i shall sing the praises of the OCUK forum...

I think the fact it's filled with (mainly) quite intelligent posters. There's a wealth of experience from all walks of life. Posts are well written and the moderating team do a good job of keeping things on topic.

It's also very busy and well populated which helps. Some forums can take an age to update.

It's covers loads of topics I like and also inspired me to delve deeper into some such as Photography.

It's full of serious intelligent people that don't always take themselves too seriously.

I must say, while i'd say 90% of the time i've posted resulted in a string on belittling replies... It does actually make you aware of the **** you can post sometimes!

We don't always get it right, I'll be the first to admit that, but generally I think the moderation is good here. With that said, a community is only the sum of it's membership.

There has been a severe lack of threads on Vorderman for ages.

As for redit. I cant make head or tail over it. Must be designed for the younger generation.
