Interior needs to be like the Cayman GTS I drove. Alcantara, red stitching, carbon inserts. It looks magnificent.

Yes, I was thinking of getting the carbon but I am definitely going to pay for the stitching and extended leather as its only around £2.1k

It feels like there's story behind the intention to buy now and sell fairly quickly. Some kind of novel way to do better out of asset splitting with the divorce?

No nothing like that, just that just that the car will be wroth a lot more than I paid for it due to short supply so I want to get out before the prices fall I may even make £10k profit on it.

991 GTS is where I would like to be if its a Targa even better

There are a few more options appearing on the configurator I notice too, small things like the yellow mark on the steering wheel, which I think has also changed in design (looks worse) and full buckets are back. Ive specced the one I want, just deciding if I take it as I want something now and have a couple of options. The good news is I have decided on another Porsche so I suspect in 15 years I might decide on which one :)

R8 V10 not for me, driven 2 now, second one with a loud exhaust and though it has amazing noise and presence it's a bit meh once that wears off, to me.

I also test drove a V10 R8 and its not for me, looks amazing but its too flash and just does not drive like a Porsche however they are lovely cars.

You should get the GT4 if you have the chance to buy one at list price, if you don't like it just move it on its not often you get to own a car from new and get out with a profit or worst case even.

Driven R8 V10 as well!

Once you've driven a Porsche I think the actual closest rival to them in driving pleasure is BMW for handling and feedback, but still no Porsche.

If you want a driving experience on parr or better than Porsche you gotta look at Ferrari which cost a lot more, or go for a plastic made car like a Lotus. Porsche have got the best mix of quality, performance, handling/feedback whilst still being affordable.

Being meaning to advertise my 911 for months, still not done it haha, at this rate I will end up owning a 911, Mustang and an M3. :D

Like I said to Housey Porsche are just a better steer. If you buy your cars because you love driving, there really is no better package unless you make the move to Fezza.

Black would be my choice, but out of those it has to be Yellow.

Some of those options seem to contradict what the GT4 was designed to be, but that's probably just me. Here's what I did to it but I forgot to remove the dimming mirrors and cruise (as I personally wouldn't use it). :)

Me I think the bubble will burst at some point but in the short term yes maybe £20k if I don't use it (which I will)

Don't think you'll get close to that. I am seeing talk of 10K overs but that is for cars that aren't delivered yet. Don't forget that all the 918 owners had first refusal on GT4 and GT3 RS and I know of a few 918 owners who are taking one or both and I think there are circa 70 918's in the UK. I would not expect them to take them for long however and they will turn up on the 2nd hand market fairly soon or be spun back to the OPC list. There is also noise about an RS version and a Gen 2 with PDK so soon as those start to become clearer early next year people will order and bail from the GT4's they have. Porsche are also building more than planned I believe, so suspect this will dilute the current overs and when rates start to rise as they will shortly the overs market will align I feel.
