Samsung is really ramping up on the larger ssds now:

Already available for enterprise, and in a month or so for everyone else. How long do you think it will take for prices to come down to consumer levels?

If people nvr paid the price in the first place it would go down quicker but people have the itch will pay anything for newest gear
