Windows 10

My Store won't update, it just sits there on 'Pending' for hours and hours...

This is the Store it's self! not any other app updates!!! The annoying thing is it has a knock on effect of stopping any of the App updates that are also pending!!

I've tried stopping and restarting the update service and loads of other fixes out there!! none seem to work!!

Win10 10240 (RTM)... I'm still waiting for the final update to come through! (probly blocked up by the Store update too!! :( )

Are you activated? Store wont imstal/update inactivated.

Well had the first program not work in 10 so far, FIFA 15. It just refuses to start.

Tried downloading the media pack others are saying is needed in 10 for it to work and that does nothing.

Yep! Apparently I am!

Everything works fine here, aside from my 4k tv... If I adjust it to the resolution it says it supports, Windows 10 loses connectivity to it, and a message on the tv says 'unsupported signal' or something to that effect.

The resolution defaults to 1080p, and works, but as soon as you adjust the slider to the 4k resolution you get the error, and then the tv never connects again.

The only thing that managed to bring it back after about an hour of rolling back (which caused all the preinstalled apps to break, and the store to stop loading) was to do another clean install.

So much for supporting the latest '4k resolutions' when Windows 7 did it without any issues.

Hopefully this gets fixed in the next few weeks. A quick google hasn't really brought anything up of any use.

TV is a Sony Bravia 49" X8505B.

Well thank god for dual BIOS because messing with Fast Boot options toasted 1 of the BIOS on my board :). Perhaps clearing the CMOS will reset it to default, however the clear COMS button on the back of the motherboard does nothing.

Do the Windows 8 BIOS options also apply to Windows 10? I would have thought so.

So far, not so good... Upgraded my wife's laptop from 8.1 to 10, and startup take x3 as long as 8.1... Bulk of to e is spent sat on a black screen with a cursor, logging in after her pin then either sits on "welcome" or "preparing.." for ages.

Finally got in after a couple of reboots, and find the disk usage is 100% making it near unusable!

This is on a new HP i5 laptop with 8GB or RAM, would have hoped for better performance than this.
