Would the police count this as an offensive weapon?

On the same page for me it says stocking your toolbox with a picture of a clawhammer that is 1/4 of the price. I'd go with the clawhammer equally as plausible at a cheaper cost and I would wager far more effective!

(unless you want to see in the dark)

I'd Imagine so since it's primary purpose is hardly to illuminate.

You could hardly walk around the street with that thing like you could a heavy duty torch

I'd say yes.. Considering when i look down the page it's got LED Torch looks like baseball bat so just because their ad doesn't say it, the police aren't that stupid.. well..

A keyboard?

would be the same as just owning a baseball bat surely?

Given the propensity of some road users these days to go bat**** mental over even the smallest perceived slight against them, I keep an aluminium baseball bat in the car. I also keep a glove and a ball stashed under the seat too, just in case I get pulled over and have to explain the bat.

Surely the claw hammer left laying around after doing some DIY would be the better option?

Well this might be an urban myth but I heard the police would do you for that. A torch was acceptable because it's not a weapon when you grab hold of it.

Ahhh but because this is a torch, you can get rid of the glove and ball!

I see what theyve done!
