Just letting people know that all the Star Wars movies will be available on Sky ondemand from August 8th.

I'm glad. I've never seen them before and they seem impossible to find on streaming services. Also, the blu-ray is a bit hefty for me at £50.

I'm now trawling through websites to work out in which order I should watch them. Everyone has a different opinion, so I'll just go 1-6.

Was quite surprised when the conversation came up at work awhile back was a good few who have never watched a starwars movie though aware of what they are.

:O Never seen them? BURN HIM.

Anyway, these will definitely need a re-watch before December that's for sure :)

I love star wars, absolutely huge fan since I was a child. However just watched the original trilogy this week, and tbh the films are quite weak. Empire is a fantastic film, but the other two are very weak.

I liked them all, even the prequels, to be fair the original trilogy is badly acted and lolworthy at times.

Yep and equally as laughable in places with stuff that just doesn't make sense. I watched the originally trilogy again this week with my son, some of the acting is truely terrible. The dialogue is just a big better that they had to work with. It's still sniff the fart acting though.

Every time I watch the originals now I'm older I find something else that makes me go wtf in the same way adults dissect every thing that's bad about the prequels.

Binks aside, the ewoks are way more woeful and unbelievable than the gungans.

Empire is a fantastic film, but the other two are very weak.

Empire is massively over rated, so much of it doesn't make sense and it equally as pointless as anything in any of the star wars films. Battle of hoth, what a joke. What possible reason would a snowspeeder have a tow cable, before Lukes pearl of wisdom to use the tow cables wtf where they using them for before? ;)

"They are too heavily armoured, use the tow cables"

So after this genius, they then proceed over and over again to attack an At At that can basically only shoot straight and 30 degrees each way from a full frontal assault. Why the **** didn't they just get passed and stay behind them? Clearly when shot in the top it blew up, so how about a top assault :D

Or the stupid carbon freezing fight. Really vader had to go to all that trouble to move Luke to a fridge freezer when he was so powerful in the force and Luke could barely lift a rock. Like transporting him was going to be such an issue. What was he worried about being whined to death?

Almost as ridiculous as the plan to save Han from jabba.

I'm kinda with you on that. Grew up with the OT. Empire is brilliant, ANH is starting to show its age finally, and ROTJ is utter pants apart from the last 30 mins or so. The PT was pretty underwhelming for me - embarrassingly inept at times, rather good at others.

I'm so pumped about the new ones though. TFA trailer is, in my opinion, the best trailer ever made. Ever. Period.

Kinda hoping that they do the marathon at the cinema, back to back like they did with the last avengers.

The doubt I have is Disney not wanting to showcase the prequels/
