As Treyarch optimizes Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PC gamers, NVIDIA will support engineering and visual effects efforts with code, and help integrate some of our state-of-the art special effects into the upcoming title.

This is a big deal, in every sense. The last chapter in the Black Ops series was the biggest entertainment launch of its year and became the most played online game of the last generation.

Looks like one of my favourite series will be getting some sweet GameWorks effects

Waiting for the Beta to open, shouldn't be long now...

There's no way this could be worse than AW, right? Played that one for a few hours on the launch day and haven't opened it since. Black Ops II still the best "modern era" COD by a country mile.

Horses for courses. I loved BO and BO2, so really looking forward to this. AW was decent as well and the MP was great and a tidy single player.

Loved running around nuketown with a silenced spas, then bought AW, ooft. Got about 4 hours playtime on that.
Hope BO3 is better, can't be any worse, surely!

^This. In fact I enjoyed even Ghosts a lot more than AW,I Iwould have played it more if it performed similarly to BO2 (no FPS cap, no stuttering). Ghosts had better netcode than BO2 though. AW performed like butthole, with stutters and awful netcode, and the issues with netcode were compounded by the fast moving nature of the gameplay.

Never played or even installed any of the COD single player campaigns.

AMD users prepare to be screwed over.

Gameworks, The amazing new technology that adds **** all but slows your system down to a turd like crawl, Gameworks, Welcome to the future that's slower than the past with detail you have to squint to even notice.

*Fixed.

GameWorks ran well for me on AMD and Nvidia. No issues for me where the effects were allowed to be used on either system in truth.

I like some GW FX but some do not justify visually the amount of performance they take to run IMHO.

Yer fair and I was disappointed in HairWorks in FarCry 4 but loved it in TW3. I was impressed with how well it ran on the FX and was expecting much harder frame hits, so does show that AMD did improve on Tessellation with the FX.
