Is Our Universe a Fake?

While I'm not sure if we are in a "matrix" I know there is more to life/existence than this "reality" that we are currently in.

This is what I'm sure of as well. Personally, I think it's something so far beyond our level of comprehension that we can't even begin to grasp it. Of course, there are those on OCUK who know best ;)

Well if you believe that tripe without any supporting evidence whatsoever, then you have to be one of those on OCUK who knows best. ;)

Why is it tripe? Because your tiny mind can't accept it might not know all there is to know? When we don't understand some of the most fundamental aspects of how our universe works, to confidently say there's nothing is beyond silly. My view is that there are an almost limitless number of possibilities, of which "nothing" is just one.

You have the burden of proof to justify your outrageous claim. I'm simply calling it tripe till I see sufficient evidence. Give me the evidence and I'll happily agree with you.

If you understood as much as about science as you profess and ramble on about the you'd know full well what you ask is impossible as is your ability to substantiate your personal opinion.

He isn't deriding you for yours though is he ... as the person who went on the offense maybe you first demonstrate why his expressed opinion is wrong. I'd like to see you try without resorting to a load of wonderful a priori assumptions.

The question from both sides in impossible to answer so maybe let the rhetoric lie and accept the difference in opinion.

Read up on the burden of proof. It's not my requirement to justify anything. He made the claim not me.

Reading seems be a common issue with you. He said I had a tiny mind. That's deriding and also a sign that when using ad hominems you've already lost the argument.

Again, burden of proof. The rational position is to reject EVERY claim till sufficient evidence is provided.

Also, Weren't you going to add me to ignore as I was too hot to handle ? :D
