I have Microsoft Word 2010 and like a lemon I have lost the product key  grrrrrrrr banging head on desk

I doubt Microsoft will touch me now if I called them about my lost the product key lol lol

So I need to buy another Microsoft Word programme , so which 1 :D

Please can u give me some advice

Can you not just use a key finder (I like magical jellybean) and get the key from your existing installation?

... Assuming you still have access to it.

The key won't be on the disks. It will be in the existing installation of Office 2010, if you still have it installed somewhere.

:(

If your looking to buy Office then the only version worth buying is Office 365 as that gets you the latest version and all future upgrades too (currently 2013 with access to the Beta of 2016).

Theres a free trial available, and often theres cheap or free deals for a code for a year of Office 365 Personal going about.

If you have kids with a school email address supplied by Microsoft then you can probably get it for free, and should be able to install on 3 devices.

At home I use LibreOffice. The only thing I miss about MS Office is Excel for hardcore spreadsheets. Calc is ok but it ain't no Excel

Personally, if I wanted Office specifically then Office365. But the chances are I'd go for LibreOffice as others have said. But frankly as a home user Google's Docs and Sheets covers everything i need day to day.

Libre Office also has the ribbon interface the same as Office 2010/13 so will be easy to transition from.

I thought I would correct myself, I've just installed it and could have sworn it did but it has NOT got the ribbon interface. Apologies for any confusion.

The great thing about O365 is the 1TB storage. Makes it very competitively priced if you need cloud storage.
