Use my garage to make money ?

3d printing service, some of those machines cost a small fortune though. Laser cutting and engraving, CNC milling too. I know modellers make use of all of these services and there will be other demand too.

Yoga studio.

My other half joins 15 other women on a Thursday night and pays £9 for the class.

The Yoga studio owner has just bought a brand new Audi RS7

Maths, you do it.

This might not be such a bad idea. Do it up inside; mirrors along one wall, sprung floor, speaker system etc and hire it out for small exercise classes.

Don't forget the hidden cameras, for er... security !

I seriously doubt this would work unless his home is in a central location with lots of parking nearby.

What's the most he could charge for renting his space for an hour to the tutor? £20?

If he took the class himself it would work but then he would need to pretty much become a pro at yoga very fast.

£200 a week is a lot of cash ...

Since you have all that room though, maybe look at furniture restoration? Go to auctions and stalk eBay to look for furniture to restore and sell it on. Still, this needs a lot of work on your part (my dad currently does it and he puts in around 40 hours a week for maybe £2000 a month).

Restoration yard. Try and source as much old stuff as you can, cast iron radiators, railway sleepers, metal signs, etc as cheap as you can and then sell.

You will have random weirdo's turning up though unfortunately.

All my other ideas are based around cars. Brake caliper refurbishing or a second hand parts supplier that specialises in one particular make or even specific car. I.e. Ford Fiesta specialist or whatever. Have the garage shelved with all the parts all cleaned, photographed and listed and easy to ship out quickly.

You could rent the garage space? we had a letter through our door from a local person in the street asking to rent garage space to do a new car restoration project

I wouldn't think it would make much though
