I would say 8880 series and also the 280x's sold well when mining took off, people were buying them by the dozen.

The best AMD have ever done is probably a tenth of the sale of these cards

This without a doubt, I reckon the 970 was a good one before ramgate, The 290 was a good one as was the 7950. But the cheaper cards is where the bulk will sell. The 660 and 7850 where decent cards in there price range I imagine they were good sellers. And the 750ti. The 5770 too.

In recent times I would say the 970, only relative information we can get as the public is the steam hardware survey.

And this of course is making the assumption that all people buying these cards are using them for gaming on steam

But it wont be something cheap for sure. We are number one for high end Nvidia in the UK for a reason. We sell serious volume of high end!!!

The forums consists of only a fraction of OCUK users. I would have thought that the vast majority of OCUK sales won't be to hardcore PCer's, Instead they'd be to regular buyers looking for a good deal online.

It would be an interesting read if Gibbo did a graph of the sites best sellers over the last decade.
