You'll get more selling it than scrap value. You've been honest on your listing so hopefully no come back on that.

wouldve had that had you been anywhere near Newcastle :p
In the need for a little run about as I cant decide on my next car haha

Exactly what it was for me, it served me damn well for what it is!

It's little 1.8 isn't a bad engine either, nothing ground breaking but allows for fun here and there.

Glad to see it for sale - I'd expect you should get a good £600 for that, based on other examples in similar condition with almost double the mileage!

If it runs, it's always worth selling. Our old Corsa was seriously knackered, yet someone still paid over £300 for the thing... and I still see it driving around!

But, without MOT...

If I do get £600 for it, I'll be over the moon! That will cover my recent stint last weekend in Amsterdam haha.

Well, it's almost done and it's going for an acceptable price! I'll be happy to get £250 for it. Covers parts cost I recently incurred servicing it. And the tyres.

If you hadn't decided what to do with it, I was intending to offer you £100 and to come and get it this week - so you've already doubled your money :p

Well, that was short lived. Some lady asked me to deliver, after me explaining that the cost for me to deliver was too high. She flat out refused to collect it... I asked if she has any interest in collecting it in the next 2 weeks... Was having none of it.

Decided to re list, 5 days this time. With more pictures as the car was cleaned out anyway.

Here is the new listing. You guys think the new pics will help?

Will post to United Kingdom

There's your problem, yes it says read item description but you need to treat everyone on eBay as a complete dribbling moron that needs everything spelled out to them as they'll take one look at that under postage and think oh it's fine it can be delivered.

Ooooo, damn good eye sir! Will remove that now.

Yea, I guess I'll see the light in the situation as I've been able to re list with more pictures and a longer time now.

Edit: Annoyingly, I can't seem to remove that...

Why don't you spend an hour giving it a clean before taking some better photos (and take the bloody tyres off the back seats)? It'll go from looking like a rotten old shed to an honest and relatively clean cheap car that needs a little bit of work. Even given the cheapness of the car it's likely to encourage a lot more interest!

I really, really don't have time. I know that sounds daft, but it's the truth of the matter. I might be able to sneak in a clean tomorrow night. Might be a bit better then. I'm in London most of the week and often don't get home until 8pm.

Think it's worth? Then just replace the pictures mid auction?

Edit: Tyres, you mean take them off, get a good snap of them outside rather than on the back seat and a decent picture of inside the car? That I can do tonight. Won't take 5 mins.

Yes it's worth it IMHO. It really won't take you long to chuck some shampoo in a bucket, go over the body and wheels with it, and dry it off so it looks a lot better in the photos. At the moment it looks like it's been painted with matt paint!

Take the tyres out and give the whole interior a going over with a damp slightly shampoo'd cloth (if you don't have anything more appropriate for interior trim and upholstery).

Then take some new photos.

*Sigh*, your advice is sound and gives good reason.

I'll order a pizza tonight and crack on with the car. I've got a pressure washer and brush which I never used as it's too scary to use it on the good cars. I could dust that off and give it a once over. Interior aye....

1 hour of my time.
