Was in 2 minds but watched the video from the road shortly after the crash... like something out of a warzone quite surreal.

I don't know what happened to my original post but we're on the main road by the sea inbetweeen Lancing and Shoreham and there just so many ambulances and police still flying past. We were out back watching for planes over the coastline, it came straight over us. We didn't even realise anything was wrong until we went out front to get a drink and saw all the smoke. So sad :(

Jesus, imagine seeing that coming towards you. Very very sad :(

All those people on the grass.

^^ Some crazy pictures from the perspective of those people as its barrelling towards them flames everywhere :S (I'm guessing they were unhurt or the minor injured).

I'm not an aerosexual, I couldn't care less if they stop these things or not but plenty of others seem to enjoy them. Yet there's no way any aircraft let alone and old out of service plane should ever be doing a loop over a built up area.

Even if it was a malfunction, it's still a pleb thing to do.

I assumed these air shows were very strict with safety? Or does anything go nowadays?

I'm amazed the casualty rate isn't much much higher, astounding imagery.

Two jet crashes at airshows in quick succession - can't help but think the rules for public display are going to get changed :(

Could it be possible the pilot was attempting a different manoeuvre but was forced into what looks like a loop?
