FreeSync is AMD’s name for a complete three-part solution: a Freesync-compatible AMD Radeon™ graphics card, a Freesync-enabled AMD Catalyst™ graphics driver and a DisplayPort™ Adaptive-Sync-compatible display
From AMD's site.

Whereas FS123 said that Freesync is just AMD's implementation of adaptive sync. That's not technically correct, as adaptive sync by itself isn't doing anything.
Freesync is a proprietary solution which utilises adaptive sync, no more or less.
And that's me done.
But apparently caring about the technicalities makes me a 16 year old boy.
Intel can then do exactly the same thing with current existing adaptive sync monitors (Which no one has tried to argue against.............)
