*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Considering the DLC is actually really good, I'd hesitate to say they are ripping you off. I know the game has been out for a while, but DLC not receiving permanent price cuts is pretty standard practice. And finding specific pieces of DLC on sale is not super common.

You'll be able to find the GOTY edition fairly cheap if you just wait a bit. It almost always goes on sale for 75% off(£5) during the major Steam sales, for instance.

On Steam it would be almost £23 for the dlc, which seems a rip off to me as the main game was on offer for £2.50 at christmas I believe. Same thing happens with Skyrim with the dlc still costing £14 and dropping to £7 in the sales. By now it should be a lot less imo, it's like they are screwing over the people that bought the main game at release for full price.

I did see the GOTY edition for £5 on CDkeys.com, but its out of stock and they don't know when they will have more. The next cheapest I can find is around £11 from Kinguin. I wouldnt mind paying £11 if the dlc is good. I did read it is fairly short, but after completing the main game I am craving more and don't know if I can wait till christmas.

I'm guessing that was using the Ukrainian VPN method though, so not really the same.

I don't think so, I saw those cheap foreign options but one of the sites was offering a limited run of them at that price for us regular buyers who don't go through all the fake country rubbish, I think it was Gregster who got one so he'd know for sure (If it was him). I regret not getting one and if it had been via somewhere else I wouldn't of been interested in it anyway.

A fair enough, I must have missed that deal. I used a VPN (the only time I've even done so) and kind of feel bad about it, such a great game they so deserved all my money!

But it's Ubi, and it's not about hate, it's more about hard lessons learned, but then we know not all people learn from past mistakes

CDkeys still have Mad Max pre-order at £13.45. Interestingly the release date now seems to be the 31st August rather than 3rd Sept.

Hopefully no delays as I have it pre-ordered.
