Just play whatever you like to unless you want to become very competitive I don't think there is enough difference to justify turning down settings aslong as you get enough FPS out of it.
Time would be better spent getting your sensitivity perfect.

I dinged DMG by being bottom fragger on a loss last night. Whoop! Think it was because we won the game before but the MM server died when the result was submitted so the rank up wasn't updated on my profile until the next game.

How in God's name could you spend 11 hours straight playing a game? Im bored as anything after about 2 maps!

I feel the same, 2 maps is my limit too.

Anyone up for a couple of games from 7.30pm/8pm tonight? I'm LE (spreadsheet updated).

CSGO not sure unless I were on a massive win streak. Have done longer sessions than that on other games though.

gratz on the rank up. finally got there.

i got deranked after my windows updating issue the other night. same happened again on mirage last night. was reasonable most of the night (150-200) and then as soon as mirage it spiked to 350-450 and wouldnt come down. (tried restarting router etc) but nothing worked.

ended up just playing with the 400 ping which wasnt fun to say the least.

You may as well go afk and be kicked from the server rather than having 400 ping. It's just not possible to compete, your team may as well have a bot they can hopefully control.

Joel, should have killed the windows update service to see if that would have helped.

Hope Valve release the updated Nuke soon, miss not having it in the rotation.

Curious to know how far away the Source 2 engine update is too, apparently they're working on porting it currently.

i was top fragging for some of the game. cant remember where i ended on the scoreboard but pretty sure it wasnt last

I can't remember exactly but I think you were either second or third, I think me you and hazy were top 3. To be honest we should have won that match, for some reason it took loosing 6/7 rounds in a row at the start of both sides until we pulled our fingers out

i just cant work out whats causing such a big jump in ping. it was working fine (150-200) all evening.

brother in law playing on his xbox/ps4 causes my ping to go to that from (60-100 - which is standard)

but at the time it shot up to 400 nothing had changed, he wasnt on xbox/ps4, the inlaws werent watching netflix. (when i log onto the router it only had mobile phones/ipads and my pc/server connected)

5 phones - not being used
3 ipads - not being used
my server - idiling
my pc - playing csgo with no changes.

We just never had a game where we got smashed so we were all on a high. Had about an 85% win rate out of all the games we played and time just ran away with us

Any chance its updates for something, PC/ps4 doing game updates?
Do you have a nice router with QoS?
