ebay help

I got scammed for a phone I sold a while back. Guy gave me good feedback, used it for a few days then started to claim it was riddled with Trojans. And the gps didn't work. Total hassle. I only sell on the local Facebook buying/selling page now.

I had an issue with my PS3 where I had to factory reset it to get it to show something on screen. Seeing as this person can't even type properly, 'not switching on' could mean anything.

Yes, output settings maybe wrong for his tv but only power saving settings would get it to turn off no?

lol @ videoing the wrapping of an item. like that proves that is the package that is taken to the post office. taking a photo of the serial next to the buyers name is smart just for eBay's satisfaction.. but again i doubt it will help you against a charge back. eBay is great for buyers.. sellers not so much.

Lol eBay.. Why would anyone even what.

I've sold loads on ebay with no problems, but you only hear about the deals that go bad.

Yeah but the buyer sounds a bit dim and it could be on, just not showing anything on the display so sometimes a hard reset will only bring it back. I had that happen with the PS3 I sold on ebay, plugged it up to test and nothing, after a google I have to hard reset it and it then gave me a display.

Yeah, blame the victim. Classy!

How do you know he's the victim? It could have legitimately gotten damaged in the post. Why should the buyer be out of pocket because OP was too tight to spend an extra couple of £ insuring it properly?

Even if that isn't the case, why on earth would you post something worth £260 only covered for 10% of that?!
