Those charts are scary. And to think they were originally aiming to create the bomb twice as powerful. Google the size of it, it's huge!

Well I would say that sucks but since we would all be dead, opinion is irrelevant.

Besides I have achieved everything I want to in life; in surviving over 10 years on this forum.

Well according to his prophecy or whatever there should be a 7+ magnitude earth quake somewhere that does major damage between now and the asteroid... no matter that he also predicted it happening that year for just about every year for the last few years.
 
Oh I hope not...I get the keys to my new house on the 18th. And we wont have unpacked and settled in by then.

You are more likely to win the lottery then see an event of this kind. IF you believe your odds are in go and get a ticket and enjoy yourself beforehand

If earth was anywhere near the biggest planet or only planet circling the sun we'd maybe see this all the time but I believe we are very lucky how things are arranged which makes any story of this kind improble.

A smallish meteor wiping out 1 city is ok slightly feasible and very long odds still. A satellite going wrong and being a human made collision is more probable imo, worry about all those inter continental nuclear warheads setup for launch ageing in their silos waiting for some trigger - thats 1000x more likely
