**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

how big and what type of sd card can i put in my note 4?

going away and want to load up on some tv/films to watch.

also how should i transfer and play mkv files?

Samsung Memory 32GB Evo MicroSDHC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 Memory Card with SD Adapter are currently £10 each.

will 2 of these do for a note 4 and note 3?

You can get up to a 200GB one if you wanted.

Any microSD should work fine, but make sure you get one from a decent brand. Really I'd only go for Sandisk or Samsung, you can't go wrong with them. Then just find the capacity you want, and a higher speed card if you want to pay the difference for faster read/write speeds.

As for transferring files you can either just connect the phone to the computer and copy/paste, or you can put the card in the adapter and copy/paste them directly onto the card.

Poland's Exynos (N910C) version receiving the 5.1.1 OTA today so the Snapdragon version won't be too far behind.

I predict when your post count reaches 150,000 is around the time the N910-F will get 5.1.1 :(:p

KK battery just keeps on giving; woke up this morning with around 43% battery (has not been on charge for nearly 30 hours bar a brief 5% boost when I had it plugged into the PC yesterday afternoon copying content), have just over 30% left now with nearly 6 hours SOT. I pray 5.1.1 can match or at least come close to this performance.

Fixed Android os battery drain by factory resetting on kk (stock)

Now it appears to be back

Ive upgraded to LP now again see how it performs. Also hoping 5.1.1 helps

Getting bit tired of these Android wake locks

Early days so pinch of salt but judging from the comments, it seems that some people who experienced the lag in the task switcher and gallery with 5.0.1/5.0.2 (straight after taking a photo) are still getting it with 5.1.1 (recently released Polish iteration).

Where are you getting these comments from as I've not seen them on XDA?

Need BBCi player video content to work or im going to throw my device at the wall. Ok on KK its fine i believe but i dont really get the latest devices (9 months now) to run older software. does 5.1.1 fix it anyway or are we all burying our heads like the BBC, and pull the app off playstore for the Note 4

BBC iplayer worked fine for me on 5.0.1 (although it needed a force close after use) but when I rolled back to Kk it no longer works with that version of the software.

I have the SM-910 C & have now got 5.1.1 Lollipop & have to say it's given the Note 4 a new lease of life. No more recent apps lag. When you take a picture & veiw it in galllery instantly there is no more lag.

I am really impressed. Not sure how it will be on the Snapdragon Note 4 but on the Exynos it's fab.

5.1.1 ota update is available for italian firmware on h3g (Three). Cant be long for us now.

Wonder if i can flash the firmware and get the update.
