The EU Migrant Crisis

I am all in favour of offering financial aid to refugees in Jordan, Turkey and so so forth. I think the international community should come together and cough up the billions needed to support those people. That is my humanity.

Letting endless waves of migrants cross into Europe is inhumane to Europeans. After all, historical mass immigrations have usually resulted in turmoil and destruction for the host nations. I'd rather that didn't happen to us.

This, our welfare systems will collapse under the pressure of millions of uneducated criminals, I mean immigrants... They WILL commit crimes, our values and cultures WILL collide. It has already started and it will only get worse. Nobody in Europe asked for this.

You have a generation that grew up in a civil war or another war torn country, that is in them now, its all they know. There is no changing that just by moving them to another country. They essentially bring their problems with them.

Spot on, they ARE the violence from their countries, they aren't simply fleeing violence, they are exporting it.

I have a solution to this problem. We'll take in the refugees whilst simultaneously sending all the NIMBY's over to Syria / Iraq / Palestine, etc.

I don't think it would change much in the long run once all the folk we'd shipped off to various war torn countries started desperately trying to get back to the EU. It'd certainly change the minds of many heartless *******s who can't see past their own first world problems.

Surely something like that would have been witnessed/recorded (the staging)?

EDIT - you might be right but that's a pretty big assumption.

Stefan Molyneux uploaded a vid a few hours ago talking about this, can't link as swearies, but it's worth a watch.

Yep,

Good video. He's great always watch his stuff.

Tends to say it how it is. Like he says CEO's go out and say immigrants are great! of course. It makes them more money. People who live in areas unaffected by immigrants, oh immigrants are great! people who live around it and see the problems ie those videos from France hate it.

They are not racist. They are just sane human beings who don't want their city ruined...

Durr....

But yeah worth the watch, just youtube stefan molyneux.

Looks a bit staged. Sure he died, but they obviously put him face down to take photos. Pretty shocking that they would exploit the death of a child to gain sympathy.

That is happening every day. You don't need to look far for many more photos of similar situations. Are they all staged?

That child is the same age as my own. Utterly heartbreaking to think it has happening on an almost hourly basis, and more so when you consider folk like yourself show no compassion whilst perched in positions of relative privilege.

Tragic, but Europe never forced these people to get on boats. Also we didn't have hundreds of people drowning in the med before the EU decided to have a ridiculously accommodating asylum policy.

They were dying in their own countries instead. Out of sight though, so that's ok.

I think people are a bit desensitized if i'm honest.

Sad state of affairs yes.

But I lost my humanity when I saw a video of Isis burning a pilot alive in a cage.

What I really don't understand about the media is how they think a plane explosion is very offensive but dead bodies, children, pieces of legs, arms and such is ok to show. Or when people are covered in so much blood with heavy cuts all over them.

Fear based media.

It gets them views. More views = they get paid more.

Politicians starting endless wars creating so much unrest in many countries. I don't see many people venting their anger at all the past politicians.

Sad state of affairs yes (Children are innocent).

Probably, you should think about the implications of what you're saying here. I mean really think about the starting and finishing point of what you are saying. What media you are consuming, and what the original purpose was of that, and where it then takes you and your outlook.

It's sad that people walk so blindly.

I agree with you, but as a poster above said, more and more 'gore' is creeping into mainstream media...
