***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

yes I have given up on heists all together I have done all 5 on my 'own account' it was very stressful to get groups together and then to have them all complete each stage without dying/failing in some way or quitting, don't get me wrong I did have many fun moments when all went right and I do like a lot of the idea's used within the heists but I won't join the heists of others anymore unless its at the heist stage or maybe its someone that I know will do good :)
 
I swear to god. Iv never know anything more anger inducing when it comes to gaming than the social club!

This is the second time in a month iv had an issue with it that's stopped me being able to boot the game up.

I'm getting this now....

Hi, just wondering i should be getting a 980ti , and using a 1080p screen, with everything maxed out, probably 2x AA, grass on ver high , and advanced maxed, this be ok for solid 60fps

Anyone? Iv tried uninstalling the whole game and reinstalling but I cant because that error comes up again.

Did you uninstall and remove everything? And does this show up before or after the login?

I had an issue sort of like that before but it wasn't the update part, it was just general connectivity that prevented the game from launching from that launcher.

I had to completely remove the game, social club stuff as well as delete all related files and clear out the registry. Also - firewall options so it was literally brand new and start again.

Havent had issues since.

Ive never had that, i sometimes get a server error message, but i don't have time to read it all, as the game boots and runs fine.

What i do get quite a lot, and does **** me right off, is after being signed in, and the game starts to load, the ******* Social Club pops back up saying theres been a problem signing you in (even though it came up in the top corner that id bloody been singed in), and so i have to lob in my e-mail, password again, and do that captcha ********! :mad:

I think it could be an issue with the launcher instead of connectivity.

What you could try, if you go to this path:

C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club\Profiles

And delete this file: autosignin.dat

Sometimes it can help, occasionally though
