its going to be the end, look the danger is that Islam is a religion and an ideology that's what makes it different from Hitlers Nazi ideology, if we dont start to think of ways to return these Muslims back to country of origin all is lost.

I thought your objections were based on not having the required infrastructure or funding in place to take refugees. Now it's about sending Muslims home.

But what impact will it have on your community?

This is the problem in Sweden and Germany, the impact is huge in social terms.

Do we really need that impact on our lives, when we already over stressed with NHS, Schools etc.

This all sounds a bit true Scotsman. What aspect of the eligible pool of voters do you think you are capturing by insisting on 30 years of paying taxes and NI contributions? Is 30 years of paying minimal amounts of tax and NI getting you a better class of voter than someone who has paid only 6 years of tax and NI but the number is much larger? What about people who were born abroad before moving here as a child, are legally British, consider themselves British, and meet your tax and NI requirements?

Or is it just a way of building yourself an echo chamber?

I well understand you don't like the terms of reference as you realise what the outcome of any vote by 'real stakeholders' is likely to be. The electorate spoke on this issue a few months back and I appreciate you and those like you may not like that message. However, as a democracy you have to accept it.

I suspect you approve of the Alex Salmond way of doing things i.e. the people spoke but they got it wrong so we will just have to keep on voting until they get it right.

I am not ranting about anything, I am asking how can we deal with the situation that has come about.

These people could be anyone and mean anyone, trust me the is some naughty people around, and thats just the English ones.

I just find it interesting you would assume that the only people who have a genuine stake in the country are those who are 15 years or so away from retirement and claiming a pension. As opposed to anyone who hasn't been working long enough to put 30 years of tax contributions in regardless of their other achievements such as how many people they employ, how much they spend in the local economy when procuring goods and services etc.

We each hold differing opinions it seems on who would be fit to vote on decisions affecting the future of the country, you're the only one who seems to think your opinion is somehow the correct one.

My point was that in that post you took a turn from your objection being an economic one to it being on the grounds that they are Muslim. Not really a surprise but it happens quite often on here that if you give the stereotypical anti-immigration UKIP supporting don't-call-us-racist brigade enough rope then the racial prejudices tend to appear in the end.
