The EU Migrant Crisis

This, I wouldn't worry too much about the word racist. At this point the terms racist and xenophobic are so overused by the sandal wearing brigade that it simply means you disagree with lily livered liberals. It's simply become their catchphrase, the catchphrase of the self-important windbag.

Finally someone on live TV has the minerals to say something.

I for one am proud to be a part of a nation which is helping these people, some of which have witnessed and experienced things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Yes I am worried and truth be told a little scared of what could potentially happen but I think that with enough attention and care, these people could integrate well enough over time to fit in and contribute towards our society. If everyone stopped being all "hurrr foreigners and terrists ermahgehrd" and focussed their efforts on helping these people, most would be extremely grateful and those with malicious intent might think twice.

Sadly I don't have the means to help out but if I did, I could guarantee you that I'd be more than happy to help a family. If more folks did that, this issue would be reduced to almost nothing instantly.

Yes there are potential risks and yes it could go horribly wrong but we need to be the bigger person and teach them that we are not the enemy. Education, employment and integration are the keywords here, not terrorism.

Are we dealing with the cause though?

Only if you wish this to be a state of order and strict obedience is that ever going to happen.

Democracies don't allow for attention nor care, for it is rife with emotional decisions that give the smallest benefit to the smallest range of people, the softly-softly approach is a tried and true method of self-annihilation.

We live in a world of paradoxical whims of infinite immediate growth (in terms of requiring more and more customers) and a slowly (not so slowly anymore) dying planet, something has to give eventually and its not "far off in the future" as some liberals think.

But you are the enemy - to at least some of them - by virtue of not being a muslim. They may not want to kill you, but they'll for sure want to convert you. Do they not believe it is the destiny of islam to dominate the whole world?

You know that many people beheaded by ISIS were aid workers. As well as journalists, doctors, etc. People who thought they were helping their fellow man.

ISIS isn't muslims everywhere, but neither is islam the religion of peace. It proves this by its works, by the sheer number who take up arms in its name. Not just ISIS, of course, but islamic militias all over the world.

Islam started in bloody conquest. There is blood on the hands of muslims today all over the world. These people are just following the example of their "prophet", are they not?

Good points, well made. I don't know enough about Islam to be able to comment on that, but it's food for thought.

Yep.... someone who isn't a brainwashed liberal.

I've said exact same things in this thread and been labelled ridiculous you can't just turn everyone away because of the few.

Yes, yes you can. It's not Europes(In fact it's impossible anyway) job to fix the world and one person dying in a terror attack is too many for me. It's almost as if Europe has forgotten the horrors if 9/11 and 7/7. I do not want to turn on the news and see more of this. The middle east has been fighting each other for decades, only when they learn to quit it can there be progress.

Keep thinking like that. It's been working out great so far. Even with all the charity work done by the west even with all the current migrants let in that has really fixed all the "Death to infidels" speeches.

I don't fancy having to be the bigger person staring down the barrel of an AK-47 just so I can pat myself on the back for props.

I wonder how long until the peripheries of the EU and greater Europe start looking to Russia as their ally against this threat to their identity, it wasn't too long ago that a Muslim conflict arose in Kosovo/Serbia.

Eventually they will no longer heed Germany's call for obedience (lol) and do their own "duties", the far right is rising again and it is ironically Germany's policies that continue to inflame them.
