Because some of us haven't played it since vanilla and wanted to be able to get up to par with the previous 2 expansions ready for when TTK unlocks.

I was going to buy the digital edition for this reason until they said my order was shipped. They then cancelled it 2 days after saying it was shipped so now I don't know what has happened and if I buy it from PSN I might end paying twice. As it stands I probably won't have one copy.

Cancelled my order and got digital instead. Can't even give my mate duplicated content so no point giving them the extra couple of quid :rolleyes:

Turns out that if you wanted to do that (which was my plan -- catch up on TDB and HOW this weekend) you'd have to have bought the ridiculously expensive digital edition.

Physical Legendary comes with a single code to unlock ALL expansions... which isn't usable until Tuesday.

What an absolute gyp move from Bungie. Their money-grubbing with this game never ceases to astound me.

It's pretty manic that game, just played it...completely obliterated but still ended up on a winning team :p.

Anyone around for some crucible, would really appreciate some help in getting to my 100 wins...there's a cookie in it for anyone lol.

But seriously it's the last thing I need to do for my moment of triumph.

I think there are people on here who have just got the digital legendary one (cheaper one that inc. all expansions) and they got HoW and TDB unlocked straight away.

Did they? TTK Legendary edition is still a pre-order.

The game you ordered has a release date of 15th September. You'll get what you paid for on that date.

I'm not sure about that. Haven't heard so from anyone on here as of yet (I don't think).

The only edition that specifically states, on Bungie's website, that you get immediate access to TDB and HOW through purchasing it is the Digital Collector's Edition at a cool £74.99.

Still... not paying 20 quid extra for a bit earlier access to the other expansions! LOL.

Anyway, all this means is that I'll just get the wife to sit down for an evening of tabletop gaming instead of festering on the sofa playing Destiny. Still a win. :D
 
What are people equipping in their class armour slots to get to 170? I'm stuck at 160 in all characters. And the Iron Banner cloak is only worth 30. Disgraceful.

I'm running the PoE armour or my ascended Vex raid gear and the Exotic Hunter cloak, then running ascended Fang of Ir Yut, ascended Found Verdict and whatever 170 heavy I have too.
 
Pre orders for the digital collectors edition had exotic class items that boost XP gain on the new subclass. Warlocks can get to 170 as when handing in the "get to level 30" thing with Ikora you get a rare bond that's 180 defense. Plus one of the new ghosts from the speaker.
 
Kellbreakers red tea towel from Poe can help get Titan to 170 light,got one from poe35 lastnight but sure from other Poe lvl would do same.

Brand new player, purchased the legendary digital edition a few days ago, the main game and TDB HOW unlocked and installed on day of purchase.

I've finished the main story, i have 2/3 HoW missions left that i missed. Im not near max level tho so i presume the last bit is all dungeons?
