So i've had my phone for about 2 weeks now and i thought i would put up a mini review. Before Reading this review you have to take into account the price it cost which was only £106 including DHL 3-5 day shipping and all taxes!

Meizu M2 Note

Design

The phone looks and feels like a premium phone. It feels nice and comfortable in the hand and has some weight to it. The only slight downside is that the back is pretty slippy. But as it fits in your hand so nice this isn't much of a issue. There are no on screen buttons or capacative buttons, just one button in the centre. You click this to go Home and you slide your finger to the left over the button to go back and slide your finger up onto the screen to bring up all the apps which are running. It works really well and you get used to it very quick.

Skin

The phone actually comes Android 5.1 and Flyme 4.5. I personally think its the best Android skin ive used compared to the LG G2 , Samsung S4, and Sony z3. It is very good looking and consistent. It is also very smooth and deffo reminds me of iOS.

Performance

Processor and RAM
MTK MT6753 processor
ARM® Cortex®-A53™ 1.3GHz octa-core
Mali T720 MP3/450MHz GPU
2GB LPDDR3 800MHz RAM
Dual-channel ISP chip

Day to day usage is great. There is no lag with its 64 bit Octocore processor and 2GB of ram. Looking at Antutu below you can see that it gets a better CPU score than the Snapdragon 800 but the graphics is about 50% of the Andreno 330 in the LG. This is confirmed when running demanding games. On a DS emulator the LG will get 60fps while the Meizu gets 30fps. The same 50% happens using the Unreal and 3dmark benchmarks. However your regular games play very smooth.

Camera

13 megapixel camera
4X digital zoom, 300° panoramic lens
Blue glass IR filter
Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3
5-element lens, ƒ/2.2
30 photos per second

I think for the money it is pretty good. The following pictures of my puppies were took in my living room with the blinds half closed and no flash. Low light performance isn't so great but acceptable for the price.

The screen is great and i think it is better then my mums sony Z3 which i compared it with. The colors are vibrant and sharp. ( maybe not the best comparison picture but i was in a rush! )

BATTERY

Sony 3100mah

The battery is amazing. For my quick test today i tested for 5 hours and 11 with a screen on time of 3 hours and 21 which was browsing the internet over wifi. This only used 41% of the battery with the screen at 50% brightness. Another time i used 5 Hours screen on time and around 5 days standby without needing to charge. When it does need to charge it charges very quick with the supplied 2amp charger.

SCORE OUT OF 10

I give this phone 10/10 and think for the money it is amazing! I cant think of 1 real negative to give the phone other than the back is a little slippy and the gaming performance isn't amazing although still plays the majority of games perfect. As said before it only cost £106 all in and i would happily pay £250 for one!

I've probably missed a lot of things so if you want me to do anything or have any questions let me know.

I would recommend turning the volume down on this video as its pretty loud. (I don't talk anyway). Its worth noting that the phone is on battery saver mode. Performance would have been better if i had realized before i took the video and put it into performance mode but tbh its fast enough without it being on.

For detailed specs check out the meizu site as i only skimmed over them. http://www.meizu.com/en/products/m2note/spec.html

Nice review.
Be nice to see some GPS performance feedback as anything with a Mediatek chipset immediately makes me shy away due to previous problems.

Also no mention of the network bands it supports?

Hey thanks, the GPS is excellent. I've just done a test to show you, and it connects instant and has a accuracy of 3m. I have only used the GPS once using here maps and it was very accurate.

Amazon sell these for 139 if you don't mind paying a bit of a premium. If anything goes wrong you can send it back to them no issues. Excellent phone and excellent review.

i have hesitation to choose m2 note or redmi note 2, could you give me a recommendation? I think both these two phones are worh buying, but I prefer to know their using experience, not only the specs.

I think you would differently be happy with a Meizu M2 but have also read good things about the Redmi Note 2 so i say go with which ever appeals to you the most and you'll be happy either way.

4G 1800mhz 2100mhz 2600mhz

This is a pretty important point for those on Vodafone or O2. It doesn't support 800mhz so you'll be stuck on 3G (which is generally awful in 4G areas). I had to ditch my OnePlus One for this very reason.
