Which isn't a long way away, same as roundabout you dint have right if way when your up the road, you have right of way at the junction.

Have you seen the tunnel in question? I've driven there many times so i'll simplify it as there seems to be a straw man argument building up here.

- It's not a big tunnel, it's maybe 20m or less
- It's clearly sign posted who has to give right of way.
- You can clearly see what's at the other end of the tunnel.
- If there is another car there you wait as instructed.
- It is not a case of who gets there first, you must wait far back if another vehicle is seen.

This. There are tons of elderly drivers on the road who, by their own admission, cannot reverse. A while ago I watched an old bloke reverse straight into a parked car; offered to reverse it out for him and he accepted.

Lots of people from London live in the area though, it's only a 25 minute train journey from Paddington.
