Speculation, but most likely evidence of water or microbiological life.

Hope it's aliens though so all the conspiracy theorist can say "I told you so".

NASA "major" announcements are invariably disappointing. I think last time it was that they'd found evidence of Mars having had water once - something everyone already knew anyway.

Given the attendance list as a few people have pointed out it seems likely to be microbial and/or water based findings - fair bit of speculation its sub-surface lakes. Would be nice if it was something that was truly monumental.

I'm guessing at fossil evidence of blue-green algae or the release date for Doom 4.
