I like threads like this tbh, I've not bought either console yet so good to see peoples opinions....
is there a noticeable difference in FPS between the 2 consoles on multi platform games?
I'd maybe notice that whilst playing but I doubt anyone is going to notice gfx quality when you're immersed in a game
the other big deciding factor must be the controllers, GTA5 felt like a different game on my 360 than it did on the PS3 because of how much nicer the triggers are on the 360 controller

Whats the point when frame rate, image quality, resolution, publisher support, user interface, cost, etc aren't important because 'Xbox'?
As I said earlier - may as well stick with the 360.

PS4 with Fifa 16 and a three month movie pass worth £9.99 a month for £299.99 so factor in the £44 game and three months movies £30 you get the console for less then £230.
Couldn't find one with a second controller + fifa 16 but do a search and one might pop up. lots of good deals on Ps4's lately.

True but only for Nintendo exclusives- you wouldn't buy any multi platform titles for it! If the new Nintendo console is more powerful than the Xbone it will be a disaster for MS.

If you mainly play multi plats get a PS4 as it's more powerful.
If you like exclusives get both as both have very good exclusives.
If you have a lot of friends on a particular console then get that.
simple as that really.

I have both, can't really go wrong with either to be honest.
I play more on the PS4 as I think overall it is the better games console out of the 2 of them.
Numerious reasons for this that I'm not going to bother listing as this type of thread has been done to death about a million times before. Plus there is stacks of info online.
I think a more interesting debate is why to people need threads to tell them what console to purchase? Never have I felt the need to do this with anything.
