Yeah nobody is going to look twice at a tractor parked on the verge. Its purely there to get prosecutions IMO.

Don't want a speeding fine? Don't drive faster than the speed limit.
It really is that simple.
exactly, i don't understand all the hate for speed cameras, if you want to drive fast go to a track.
If they actually cared about road safety they would pro actively do something about it.
**** that, the speed limits are laughably low, especially on motorways, perhaps people want to go from A to B faster than at a snails pace ?exactly, i don't understand all the hate for speed cameras, if you want to drive fast go to a track.
That, and several similar comments, about sums up my view.Don't want a speeding fine? Don't drive faster than the speed limit.

Otherwise they may as well paint those gigantic yellow boxes a different colour to blend in with the environment. Heck they may as well take it a step further and start hiding them behind signs and trees.

''no excuse for speeding'', dear god, all the propaganda got to you. If you take an objective look at any accident statistics, you'll see that speed is rarely the cause of accidents ( not denying it has effect on the result of an accident regardless of the reason, but that doesn't make the war on speed right, so because of morons who make mistakes with right of way or such, everyone has to suffer a low speed limit ? To hell with that.)

Not to mention environmental reasons forced down your throat, which I personally refuse to comply with.
Set fire to it or put expanding foam in it like I've seen some people do to those GATSO's.

Yes people shouldn't speed, but instead of clearly making police presence known so people slow down, they hide in a bush and send fines out to people. If they actually cared about road safety they would pro actively do something about it.

Erm 'Slippery road' is surely exactly the same thing, why is it separate? You can also group in 'careless/reckless/in a hurry' and 'loss of control' with the same category too.
While we're at it, 'Sudden Braking' should not exist, only 'Following too close'.
And for this I'm talking about doing 33 in a 30, 55 in a 50, or 80 on a motorway, not 120 through a 30
