Talking of texts I'm sure the notification used to displayed the texter's name but now I only see the number until I login to the phone.

It's good apple support these older devices still, Samsung give up after a year or 2.

On a more serious note anyone having annoying rotation issues on the home screen with 6 plus ?

9.0.2 Release Notes

- Resolves an issue where an iCloud backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup

Anyone gone to unlock their phone using touch ID and Apple Pay comes up as if you're holding it near a scanner?

Haven't seen that. Maybe you're holding it near something with NFC?

To those who are seeing bugs and oddities- have you tried a reset or 'clean install'? I did that with my iPad and had no issues. My iPhone isn't so old and it's been fine without.

Double tapping the home button when then phone is locked / screen is off does that - iOS9 feature.

I have just installed 9 again with the 9.02 uodate and I must say its running fantastic now. Much improved since the vanilla 9. The side swipe app thing is great.

No idea what is called but if I swipe from the home button towards the screen it brings up my email in a small window panel on the right....

If that makes any sense at all.....

You need to already have something else open like the browser for it to work. I think it's part of the multitasking tbh.....
