Anyone heard anything further to suggest a UK release will happen any time soon as was mentioned earlier in the thread? A quick search on Google isn't showing much in the way of rumour or speculation, leading me to think I might have to purchase an Apple product.

Well, a guy who leaks said on twitter some Italian retailers have listed "SM-N920F", which popped up a few months ago, which he calls the European Note 5 for end of October.

Yes I'll feel dirty, but I want an official uk device that I know will work properly in the uk. It might also not be convenient for me to pay outright at the moment, so it probably needs to be on plan as well.
Posted before Samsung decided not to sell in Europe but with rumoured/reported drop in smartphone sales they may well launch it in Europe this year.
I get the (unsubstantiated) impression that Samsung are on the end of a good hiding from a resurgent Apple and their lineup of larger screened iphones. I also see that Samsung dropped the price of the s6 edge+ recently, which one wouldn't expect if they were selling bucketloads. Also the normal s6 can be picked up pretty cheaply, again suggesting sub-par sales. Given this, the decision to alienate potential European purchasers of the Note 5 seems somewhat daft.

I got tired of waiting so ordered the N920CD (dual SIM version) from Fonis. The N920C / CD are the only ones that fully support LTE on O2.

Yeah unfortunately I was forced so as there are no C or CD versions in 64GB in sight.
I did order myself a "SanDisk Ultra 64 GB USB Dual Drive" from the rainforest site to make up for the reduced space available.

Well today is my last day to return the iPhone 6s Plus I upgraded to..
Surprisingly I am very happy with it and don't think I'll be returning it.
Very disappointed that Samsung did not release the note 5 to us but their loss.
I never thought I'd be happy with the iPhone but just feels so much better build wise and everything just works flawlessly but while I fully acknowledge that android Can do a lot more and offer better hardware.. And Samsung they just don't know how to manage their touch wiz properly I.e I find the battery life so much better on the iPhone.
It's all about user experience and everything looks more polished and clean in iOS.. I can only imagine it will get a lot better once the jailbreak has been release

Its been confirmed for quite some time.
Various countries. I've seen mention of Thailand & Turkey for the 920c version.
I actually ordered a note 5 coming from an iPhone since the 3g. I find iOS just too simple now, I hardly used imessages/facetime. It's a great OS no doubt, and the app store is much better then google's play store. Yet I still feel there is something lacking so I decided for a change.
Used android once on a Sony Z1, wasn't impressed but I feel the note 5 ticks all the boxes for me. It's a shame they haven't done an official release for the UK.

Yes, confirmed by many people over on XDA. Listings on eBay are usually copied and pasted from others so are generally not an accurate representation.
The one I have ordered (from Fonis) will be a Dubai/Middle Eastern CSC.
How is yours being shipped, coming tomorrow?
