Star Wars Battlefront Beta GFX benchmarks.

Not sure about that but I remember the was no difference between high and ultra for a bit

That's what I remember but wasn't it only bf4 beta or something?

Unless it was in addition to the above, I think it was to do with settings being mixed up.
The settings for vegetation levels meant that ultra was medium and low was high etc, or something like that. I remember posting a bunch of screens to show the difference way back when.

I have sensed a great disturbance in the GeForce !!!

Ha :D

The longest beta in gaming history, it's been going on for a number of years now :p

iirc high/ultra showed next to no difference in the 'beta' but did on release, but the release version had that messed up foliage setting bug to mess everything up.

Great to see AMD's hard work paying off with both discrete cards and PS4. Maybe these results can help educate the naysayers.

Whats this about stock 980ti? Dont they overclock them selfs within power and thermal limits? Its called gpu boost? So not exactly stock is it?

yes, you are completely right, the fact that a stock reference model hits 1100 something is totally the same thing as most people running 2 or 3 fan models that'll do 1400-1500mhz

They is also a lot people that overclock for benchmarks but run games completely stock..

On the desktop this is how I run games tbh. My Titan is at "stock" clocks 99% of the time.

My laptop though is a different story as I have the 780m running at 950/6000 (up from 772/5000) for day to day gaming purposes. Not only is the GPU overclocked it is also undervolted. Thank Nvidia for giving it such low clocks for that.

Back on topic it is nice to see good performance from both "teams". I couldn't give a rats ass who makes what as long as we (as gamers) get the performance we expect.

The performance gap between 970 and 960 is huge even in 1080p.
You guys think it's due to memory only 3.5G vs 2G?
I hope they add 960 4G to the review to clarify this.

No, it'll be the extra grunt tbh. A well-clocked 970 (1500ish) is roughly the performance of a 980 anyhow (which considering they're going for around £175 it's a bit of a bargain atm)

I consider myself as much as an enthusiast as my wallet will allow me :P and i run my 980ti at stock 99% too.. Only game ive cranked up the speed for has been witcher and god that game sure pushes the gpu a lot.

I hope this runs ok on a 950.

Otherwise = tears.

Dont the warehouse has some discarded titan x or something laying around for you to "stability test" :). When you are done you can give it a Battlefront stability stamp and sell it with a 100 pound markup.. man i should be leading your business... /joke

Was farting about with it via a Japanese proxy, runs really well on ultra but whos to say that all the assets for that are included? Spawn system is borderline retarded, have to love being spawned right in front of an at-st 3 times in a row :(
