Star Wars Battlefront Beta GFX benchmarks.

BF4 only sold around half the amount of copies that bf3 did, think they need to do something a bit different instead of yet another modern\very near future fps.

roll on 5pm and finishing work lol
Didn't know there was a preload, I'll have to download when I get home :(

My internet is god awful right now for some unknown reason. Speed test only gives me 7mb at best when it used to be 18. So iv taken the plunge and ordered cheapy fibre cant wait til its up and running :)

Meh... needs work, and i don't like the scale of players, 10 meters away they look like they are 50 meters away, tiny, its going back to the way BF3 was scaled, actually worse.

I can see people play this at 720P so they can more easily spot people.

very impressed with performance and crossfire scaling.

MSI overlay showing around 90% usage on both my cards. No issues staying above 100fps using Ultra @ 1440p. Quite impressive for a BETA.

Anyone know the command to show fps? is it the same as BF.

First impressions, looks really good, runs smooth on a single 290x @ 1440p on ultra(if it is ultra that is)

Only done the single, keeps failing to find any servers for multiplayer :(

A quick performance test for the beta with everything on max except no aa, 85FOV @ 2560x1080

I am using the battlefield 4 tool for this but since both use the same engine, it doesn't matter.

EDIT:

That is for survival single player.

I can see people play this at 720P so they can more easily spot people.

Most people already do that in any semi-competitive games anyways, in bf 3 the lower the res. the less visual recoil there was too.

Besides, not like you really need to do anything with regards to lowering settings to get an advantage as the game already has little to no skill ceiling and pretty much anyone can do well in it especially when using jedis/vehicles.

On here I'd agree but it is surprising what some people do. I have a friend who recently went all out and built a full custom water cooled setup, 4790K and 980 and he runs everything at stock!

I hate to say this, but my 4790K and R9 290 are all under water and I do not overclock them and they are on stock. I enjoy the near silence I get with this and that is in a Parvum right next to my screen.
They are plenty of different use cases out there and that is what makes this hobby so interesting.
Just tried the beta and its running super smooth at 1080P on stock with the beta driver. I just need to check my FPS later, but its does look beautiful!

My fps seems very variable. At ultra I can go from 20fps-100+. Crossfire is working great, but both my gpu's are at 40-60% usage most of the time. I'm using 5.5/8gb ram, and my cpu from what I can tell isn't bottlenecking it.

Looking at the benchmarks I should be able to get higher than an average of 65fps at ultra right?

Anyone with any ideas of what else it could be? (this is all on the sullust map)

Perhaps it's the dx11/12 classic case, CPU isn't able to be fully utilised on dx11?
