1ms vs 34=<ms Is there a difference?

So im looking into getting either a 2560x1440 144hz FreeSync panel, but I quite like the IPS on my current LG 29UB65 and There is a IPS 1440p 144hz FreeSync in the name of the Asus MG279Q but, that has a 4MS response where as the BenQ XL2730Z is a TN (yes i know IPS has a slower response time than IPS) but will 3MS make that much of a difference?
Looking for peoples personal experiences, believe me, I will happily save myself like £66 and get the TN, but only if the colours are good enough to not make me want my Ultrawide back

Unless you're playing at a top level in competitive FPS games I doubt you'll notice 3ms, the difference is minuscule. You will however notice the drop in colour quality, it's quite pronounced between the two panel types.

If you are sensitive to motion clarity, you might notice a difference but chances are you will also notice the difference in colour/image quality between the benq and LG.

I think ill probably continue IPS unless in the next month and a bit i get very very good at CS haha.
