Are tattoos passé yet?

His main contribution to the forum is posting DailyMail links because he likes to get irrationally angry about things. He's a lost cause.

seems to be you guys who are getting irrationally angry...

No, as I've said I don't like them. I just have little tolerance of people talking out of their arse.

yup - completely made up those two generalisations, didn't provide any evidence at all... oh wait

Why am I angry? I never said you completely made up the generalisations, I'm saying you were pushing them as facts initially. Then you back pedaled to "oh they're just generalisations, she'll LIKELY be like that".

you're just confused, the angry comment was directed at the other posters

I've not backpedaled on anything, you tried claiming that previously and I've already corrected you

Personally I think they look tacky and ridiculous and most will regret them when older. Not that I dwell on it like the OP :p each to their own.

well she is pretty regardless of the tattoos - though the tattoos let you know a couple of things:

1) it won't take many dates to get her to put out

2) that is a good thing as you won't want to date her for long - she's likely a bit unstable

Lol, silly ****.

Tattoos signify instability and promiscuity? Really? What about piercings then, does that apply? Technically it's body art too, does that mean that every girl with earrings is a village bicycle on the verge of a nervous breakdown?

Also, OP is clearly bitter about something or trolling. "These are my life choices and if yours are different that makes you an inferior person with mental afflictions".

To me it seems obvious that both interest in tattoos and style of them are cyclical and driven by fashion. i would imagine we are probably at peak tattoo and there will be a significant drop off followed by a resurgence at some point.

Some tattoos are good but most people in the UK have them and they look chavvy and skanky. Especially the women with the tramp stamps. Bet they will regret that when they hit 60.

Because they really should be... They're certainly not 'cool' or 'unique' any more (far from it).

Just for once I'd like to meet people who are so independent, so unique and so rebellious, that they actually DON'T have calligraphy scrawled on themselves.

Oh, you have a favorite quote you love? Great, go post it on Facebook or somewhere else nobody cares about it. Because tbh, I don't need to look at it perpetually. (Not that most of them can even be read without making specific effort - kinda like geek T-shirts which you can't read unless they are laid flat).

So please can we finally go back to NOT thinking tattoos are "cool"?

Pretty please? :o

Agree 100%, I've never seen a tattoo that I liked even remotely. Obviously people are entitled to having "body art" and I will never be negative towards people who have them. I just don't like them.

Like all things in life, good tattoos i think look great and I think the right tattoo on a woman looks great. Tramp stamps are a no no though.

Some of the ones you see on that Tattoo cover up programme, I think, seriously? you got that tattoo'd?
