Hangover prevention.

Have one drink for every two/three of theirs.

Also, if you're having mixers then just top up your drink with a mixer without adding booze!

After a few drinks any thoughts of being sensible will no doubt go out the window so just be sure to eat a big meal before and during.

Just don't stop drinking, you never see a hungover alcoholic do you?

Constant nibbles is a good thing as well, soaks up quite a bit of the booze also

Stay hydrated (note, alcoholic beverages leave you with a net-loss of hydration), eat plenty of food (it will reduce your capacity to drink liquids) and get lots of sleep.

Oh, and have headache pills ready for the next day.

Not to distract from my own thread, but that's actually a myth. Drinking beer leaves you more hydrated than the diaretic affect of alcohol.
I am looking to dull the brain pain. I think the constant mild drinking and slow weaning off might work.

I find just being hydrated helps.
When I feel a little tipsy, I'll ask for two glasses of water with my next drink. every two or so pints. And then two pints of water before bed.

Drinking 2 pints of water before I go to bed is the only thing that works for me. I can still tell i've been drinking but I usually feel ok.

If the room starts spinning as soon as my head hits the pillow, then it's two fingers down the throat in the lav. Refill stomach with water.

I don't get hangovers.

Go home after a night out, throw up all the alcohol still in my stomach, you don't need it any more. Brush teeth, eat and drink a pint of water.

Another pint when you wake up.

If you're feeling rough, food and lucozade sports drinks.

Although no matter what time I go to bed, I always wake up before 7am after a night out :(

I have a couple of painkillers with a couple of pints of water before bed. Then another couple of each when I wake up again. I don't have many hangovers doing that and if I do they are tame and go once the morning painkillers kick in.

If I don't do it....ouch.

How do you 'just throw up'?

Wake up early, get up drink some water and brush your teeth (to get rid of the ming). Then go back to bed for a couple of hours - that usually sorts me out.

If it doesn't, just get back on it.

Puke before bed, then drink an isotonic drink / anything to replace lost electrolytes.
(The packs of gritty stuff you mix into water are the best)
Ofc brush teeth ;)

If you wake up mid-sleep, grab a drink of water.

Then a pint or two the next morning with brekkie.
