Online MOT History

Getting a "No vehicle that matched the data you entered could be found." message when I put in my car's details. O:

Edit: Oops, seems to work when I put in it's previous registration number from 2 years ago.

Interestingly on a MOT prior to me owning my current car it had:

"Nearside Front Tyre not fitted in accordance with side wall instructions (4.1.D.1f)
Offside Rear Tyre not fitted in accordance with side wall instructions (4.1.D.1f)"

Interesting seeing what previous cars failed on before I owned them etc.

Nice that it's free and doesn't require any sign up.

Mine has only failed once, back in 2013.

For what you might ask?

Front Windscreen washer provides insufficient washer liquid (8.2.3)

Talk about lazy!

Reason(s) for failure
Offside Rear Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings (6.1.B.2)

For that lemon I got. Good it's engine went pop.

Seems if you've changed your registration number anywhere between 6 months and 5 years ago you might need to use the old one...

Interesting read to look at how old cars are being used, we had a new Corolla in 2002 that has only covered 2,174 miles between August 2011 and August 2015. Must have been sold to an old person.

whoever bought my e46 is obviously treating it well.....

Nearside Front Tyre has ply or cords exposed (4.1.D.1b)
Offside Front Tyre has ply or cords exposed (4.1.D.1b)

Last MOT bought up this...

NSR Tyre slightly perished on inner wall (May get this checked to ensure it was changed  )
Offside Headlamp aim too low (1.8)
Nearside Headlamp aim too low (1.8)

I got that. It appears straight away with every other check though.

Probably a temporary glitch. Hopefully. :(
