Hangover prevention.

Lifeline pills. Seemed to be absolutely magical to me, I was drinking for 24 hours straight and woke up fresh as a daisy, as did everyone else who took them but those that didn't were hanging...
 
I would guess the usual fingers down your throat jobbie though problematic if you have no gag reflex. You could always just drink until you throw up natually too.

I've never tried to do that before. Might try it next time out just for sake of it.
 
Plenty of water and painkillers in the morning if you need them. Don't drink until silly O'clock if you don't want the fuzzy feeling the next day.
 
If you're used to it there should be no issue pacing yourself so you don't get a hangover, don't you have any self control?

Not a great deal no. It's always the last few when you lose it that cause 95% of the problem :D

There was an article on the BBC (I think) which was summarising an academic study into this exact question.

IIRC, the scientists found that the only statistically significant solution for hangovers was to drink less.

highly unlikely this crap is effective. Milk thistle is known to have some protective actions as I know a lot of roid heads use it pre, during and post cycle.

This is almost definitely a load of rubbish, and yet I find myself looking at the reviews and thinking "But what if...".

Also, to the people saying throw up at the end of the night. It doesn't always work... this last Sunday was a write-off :D
 
Couple of Bucks Fizz upon wakening, followed by steak and chips for breakfast.

Stick to 1 kind of beer under 4.5% and pace yourself. Do not mix your drinks. Make sure you have plenty of pop/soda/juice in for the next day. Rehydrate in the morning, then grab something greasy later on, you'll feel like a champion!

Coincidentally, I always find real ales, IPA's, fancy beer etc. makes me feel rough as a dog compared to plain old lager, and white wine gives me the WORST headaches.
 
How do you 'just throw up'?

No idea, just think it and I do.

Turns out my grandfather was the same.

I just know I don't need it, I know i need to be sick and I am.

Only been sick by accident twice, once I was very young and that was more food poisoning, the second was after a half pint of vodka + half pint of coke and 8 Jeager bombs, but it was in a toilet and i carried on after.
 
For the morning

1 pint of semi skimmed milk and 3 scoops of slimfast of your choice.

Stay away from juices.
