Seems to be running just fine but I'm not fully setup or doing anything strenuous yet.

I planned to just use my old HDD for file storage and any non-essential games but realised that would mean the missus can't use my old pc. Had to nip out and grab a HDD today which I've now installed, initialised and formatted - something I don't remember doing before :\

I've been solo-parent this evening and have spent most of my time rearranging the loft so still haven't done any gaming. I've also got the internet setup now and am now debating whether or not I should install monitor/mobo/mouse drivers from the cd's (which means nicking a dvd drive from an old rig) or downloading them instead.
 
Cool :) just noticed the gfx card says 600w psu is this going to be an issue seeing as I've bought a 550w?

I got mine from deals cube for $35. Took a few hours to get the key but well worth it without problems. That extra £65 would probably get OP a 390x instead of a 390.

Just seen a review for the gfx card saying they had 600w and regretted it so went to 750w! Getting a bit worried now :(
