Hey all,

As title really, who do you watch for hardware reviews and/or tips or who do you think the most knowledgeable? I am currently watching jay2cents and linustechtips, like them both but sometimes find sometimes their reviews are a little bias towards some brands for obvious reasons (don't fault them for that as they are not ever over the top with it).

Who do you guys watch if any?? Those two are mostly the ones I know of?? Any other 'guru's' worth a watch??

Linus is great but have to admit his content has changed in the last year and I don't think for the better as he was always on about the newest case, cpu, gpu, power supply or builds but now seems to be monitors and phones. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy watching the vids.

Linus but with the recent changes now he's expanded they've lost the quality they once had.

I find with jay2cents he seems to have flavour of the month depending who's sending him free gear these days.

Linus was my go to youtuber but now that he doesn't really do the reviews except phones and monitors and has Luke do them I've slowly stopped watching.

Hardware canucks I like the reviews a lot more.

Tech of tomorrow. I have a lot of respect for him. He's currently battling poor health and has had his foot amputated. His also very unbiased in his reviews. Check him out

Hardwarecanucks is a good guy, he reviews things in a pleasant and straightforward manner and you can generally get a good idea of a product's quality and value from his videos.

Digitalfoundry always seems to have a nice set of benchmarks when a new GPU releases, and they show it side-by-side with 3 other same-tier GPUs so you can see if it's worth spending extra money on bleeding edge or not.

Still enjoy Linus and Jayz, Linus is going downhill lately though

Currently watch Linustechtips and Techquickie, but agree with the quality dropping recently, wondering if it 'll pick up once they've settled into the new offices.

Good to hear other suggestions, currently checkign out some of Hardware Canucks vids and Tech of Tomorrow.

JayzTwoCents - funny guy drilling through his x99 mobo... had me in tears of laughter... Check this link out :D https://youtu.be/67glAjdvwLc?t=8m20s

OC3D - Tiny Tom Logan all round good guy "very very in depth" reviews.

Tech of tomorrow - luv the benchmark song has me rockin out every time.

Linus in small doses

Hardwarecanucks - direct & to the point.

Tastypc - Not for the reviews... BUT other reasons I cannot speak about. ;)

Awesome Sauce & Pauls Hardware are good, both the guys used to do the Newegg TV stuff.

Linus, Jaz2C, OC3D, TastyPC, Austin Evans, Hardware Canucks, Marques Brownlee, NCIX, Tek Syndicate.

And some bloke called Gregster for gaming!

nice guy but so clueless

so many mistakes and incorrect facts

Barnacles is okay for his how to do vids and some reviews I just can't take silly reviews of 1up boxes and such. Wish he would stick to his tech reviews but he never will.

Linus.

His videos have declined lately as others have said, the focus is more on mobiles and monitors however I've really enjoyed the videos of the office move. Server setups, 10GB networking, Xeon pfsense box.

I don't like this guy. I think he's unfunny and states the blinding obvious in all his videos. It's one thing to drill through the motherboard which in some parallel world might seem a sensible thing to do, but another thing to not even check the other side or mask anything off!

Linus, NCIX and hardware canucks are my primary three but some great recommendations in this thread. Thanks guys.

I wish Maxishine would come back...

Paul's Hardware is my favourite - he just seems such a nice guy.

Does anyone think Linus is getting better? I used to love his content but now it is all a bit uninteresting.

Oc3d is good but there is a serious problem with his videos - he only reviews stuff he likes so I don't need to watch them! I just see the title and mentally note that it's a good product.
