Germaine Greer on Transexuality

BPD is what most people are referring to when they say "mentally unstable".

nah it is quite ambiguous and in this context the poster quite clearly wasn't

Gender identity disorder was renamed as gender dysphoria because it's not actually a disorder.

nope it was renamed under DSM because people felt there was a stigma associated with the name, it is still classed as a disorder under DSM and ICD as you can see from the link already provided

How about, now bear with me here, but how about... if you're a man you use the men's room, and if you're a woman you use the women's room?

Intersex on the other hand...

They can't do it in their hands, so which bathroom are they supposed to use?

In the women's bathroom they may be ejected by worried females because for all intents they could be a student on rag week, guy dressed up collecting for children in need, on a stag night or a pervert trying his luck and those are just a couple of options.

In the men's bathroom they may feel uncomfortable, be ridiculed.

It's not so clear cut, if I were waiting for one of my daughters and she came storming out of the bathroom saying "dad there's a man dressed as a woman in there" I'd be liable to at least ask questions, it's my job as a protective father. Some hot tempered types may forgo the questions and proceed with a Glasgow kiss, it probably has happened. I'm very reasonable and liberal in my views some are not. It's a mine field out there and asking people to simply presume that any person who may be a male dressed as a female in a woman's bathroom is a harmless transsexual just won't work.

this woman passed as black for a while in the US, even got elected as president of a regional NAACP - she got outed by her white parents as being a white person....

How did she get away with that?

Every person of African origin I've known would have gone ballistic if a white women with a bad perm had rocked up to such a meeting and claimed to be 'black'..

I don't think anyone is arguing that you shouldn't treat people with respect just that there are some situations where there are opposing requirements.
.

but they are, people are arguing they would use Him, he, and mr tothier faces rather than thier correct pronouns.

You do realise that female bathrooms are almost exclusively cubicle only, right?

so dowie, out of curiosity given you have a weird obsession with lavatories.

say you are in the gents at the urinal and this person walks in

you would be much more comfortable with them being there than say

this person?

and you feel women would be more comfortable with the second person in their bath room than the first correct?

remember now you have no idea what's in thier pants they've just walked into the loo.

what does that have to do with anything Tefal? you've posted your pictures before - yes someone who passes easily as a man or woman isn't going to have an issue walking into a cubical... so what?

Because in America you're "black" if any blood relation before you is "black" due to the remnants of the "one drop" rule nonsense.

Who is, and where?

but your saying you want the guy in the second pic to be in the ladies and you think this wont cause problems.

im asking you which bathrooms should those people use.

you saying you want people who look like the first (and i actually know more convincing than her in real life) woman should be in the gents.

you dont hink that would go down badly?

no, I don't think bathrooms would be much of an issue actually for people who'd pass easily as I've already pointed out

so which bathroom should they use as you keep making a point of it.

should there be some kind of attractiveness/femininity scale for who can use the ladies, as some genetic women would fall foul of that.
