Hi all .
Im just about to build me a new pc and need some help with a new watercooler im getting for my Asus Z170 deluxe motherboard ( my first go at watercooling )
Ive got a H100i GTX coming and wanted to know if worth changing the fans to something a bit quieter and still have desent cooling ? ( heard on net that standard fans are loud )

I heard the coolermaster jetflo 120's were good but heard other reports that they can burn out the cooler pump ....Noctua fans are good too ..but hate the colour.
Wanting 120mm PWM fans with 4 pin connectors.

Noctua NF-F12 seem to be very good… but colour naff… but if they are the best then will live with it .
Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000… in black… bit more expensive but are they any good ?
Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 is another version but same price as the 3000.

Will either of these noctua ppc fan run as quiet as the NF-F12 standard cooler when using bios to control them ?
Now if using bios / motherboard to control fan I'm guessing the coolermaster jetflow with red led might be ok ?
Choices ..choices lol

I'm heading more towards the PPC-2000

Any help most appreciated.

I'm waiting for phanteks mp series to be delivered to replace my annoyingly noisy corsair fans. I'll let you know what they are like in comparison but not sure when they will arrive

Hi all
Anyone else have any input on this ? ..
They have to be PWM 4 pin and have to pull cold air through the Corsair H100i GTX cooler fitted into a IN Win 805 case.

Im looking at -
EK Vardar F1 or F2 or F3 .
Noctua NF-F12 ..naff colour though.
Phantek PH F120SP
NB-eloop B12-P ( but heard no good in pull mode as make a noise )
Would like the Gentle typhoon pwm fans but hard to find .
Is there any other fan that looks ok , has good ariflow and is fairly quiet ?
Im not going to be overclocking my i7 6700K too much .

Any help most appreciated

Just fitted Noctua's to mine. Temperatures much the same but lots quieter(not that it was especially noisy anyway)

Not fussed with the looks of things. :)

Just not sure if I have them configured in the correct way. My fans pull air through the radiator from the top of the case. Not sure if I should have them pushing air from the case through the radiator......temps seem fine so guess it makes little difference.

Have the Noctua NF-A14's fitted to my H110i GTX. These replaced a set of Akasa Viper fans and under full load (fans running full speed too) knocked a couple of degrees off.

I have the fans run at about 600rpm and are quiet, pc averages around 35 degrees. Also i let my mobo control the fan speed so if my CPU reaches 75 degrees the fans run at 100%. 99% of the time my max temps are around 60-65 degrees under load.

I managed to get 4x NF-14 & 1x NF-12 fans for around £36 otherwise i wouldn't of bothered changing from the Akasa viper fans.

Been looking at the Cougar Vortex HDB V12HP… pwm fan… and only about a tenner each .
Seem good reviews too… plus already got Cougar case fans going in… so be a nice match

These are pretty good on radiators look nice too, they will do a min speed of around 550rpm got pretty loud past 1000rpm in my experience tho.

F12's are better for noise and build quality, plus they will go as low as 300rpm.Honestly these are the best PWM fans you can get for radiators unless you can somehow find some pwm GT's

If you want to save some cash ,Akasa Apaches are decent option too,for £6.66 they are amazing value for money.

I'd love the F12's… but the colour would not go with my setup… basically black and red… Cougars are orange but will look ok with red led case lights lol .
Wish they did F12's in black… I know industrial series are black… but at £20 a fan… I think its not worth it .
My motherboard will control the fans so hopefully they will be at a low RPM.
I know noctua fo redux fans… but are they any good ?
