As a person who knows someone who changed sex from female to male im amazed at how narrow minded some people are regarding what choices in life people want to make.
Insulting someone for there gender be it there birth gender or not is as petty as insulting someone for there choice of shoes. Grow up

Just the people whom i know for a fact are abusive towards anyone who is different more specifically the people who are cruel towards my friend

Though sadly like everywhere there are a couple. My friend through school was frequently harassed and teased for being different. (S)he always felt she should be male and hence was prominently tomboyish. The amount of times (s)he was attacked physically by people for this difference is not on at all and one of the reasons it bugs me to hear anyone being harsh in anyway to people for being different . The abuse they have received since undertaking the change has frankly gotten worse.PS : What was that about a shell i saw before i refreshed

I feel like making a point of ignoring someone's transitioned gender is really just more intentionally insulting than either some personal belief or any sort of rational practicality. You say it online of someone you will never come face to face with and possibly have never even seen because the main thing you know about them is that they're trans. Odds are you've met trans people in your day to day life and used the correct pronouns just because you didn't know they were trans. Like i say, it's preposterous to even consider asking everyone you run into an intensely personal question just so you can decide how to refer to them.
