Anyone else had a distinct lack of trick or treaters this year?

The ones we had tonight were, I'm glad to say, all dressed up polite youngsters who were more than welcome to my sweets. the oldest looked about 13.

I got through a 44 bag tub of Haribo and half a tub of swizzlers sweets (love hearts, parma violets, all that teeth rotting crap).

I just pity the parents trying to get them into bed tonight after all that sugar!

Not one, which is bloody great, Its a pain in the a*se.

When I was a kid we didn't know what Halloween was, its only the last 10 or 15 years its really taken off, yet again the UK copying the bloody Yanks. Yet another marketing exercise to fleece the hard of thinking...

Bah humbug....... 8-)

we made trickle treat welcoming signs as best we could and had 5/6 door knocks

1 from a load of teenagers after what ever and the rest from younglings... had a good crack with them

somehow we expected more though

What are trickle treats when they're at home?

Sounds...pervy.

Halloweens origins are not American :)it's actually amazing how many people think America made it :). The origins of Halloween in fact are Irish Celtic :) though it was adopted by America, americanised and then for some reason adopted by us.

Not many people realise there's a house here, which is nice :)

Although annoying when Tesco call just about every week asking where we are and they're sitting just outside.
