Just ordered this Jaguar XE

I must admit, I originally disliked the XE interior, it looked cheap compared to the XF. But as I've sat in them and had a play, I've started to really like them. With certain colour combos they can look absolutely brilliant.

The only thing I do dislike is where they have clearly taken cost cutting measures in certain areas of the interior. Such as screw caps being clearly visible on door cards, the nice glove box has been replaced with a standard one and the lack of rotating vents.

Part of the reason I fell in love with the new Jags (XF onwards) was the theatre of it when you get in. The pulsing start button, the rotating vents etc. It all made me smile, and still does whenever I start the car. They've ditched a lot of that now but I know Jaguar are targeting a younger and wider audience now with these cars and the new XF

Love it from the outside.

Couldn't they have fitted any more buttons on the steering wheel though? :D

Bizzare decision from Jaguar to release it with the old nav system and update it next year. Surely it's ready for deployment?

I said above that it is the best Nav system I've seen

How many have you seen though?

It looks at first glance like one of those Chinese ones. I mean.. a massive photograph of a telephone box for what is presumably the phone option? Really?!

It looks like something aftermarket that's been slotted into the dash rather than an integrated and fundamental part of the interior.

Mind you that's of course one better than Mercedes, where it looks like somebody has just fitted a Tesco HUDL to the dash with a brodit proclip.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one - I don't like the way that the German premium OEMs (BMW, Mercedes and Audi) just stick the infotainment system on the top of the dash so that it looks like a cheap after market tablet

Awful isn't it - why is this the latest fad? Why do they do it?!

Looks good- thank god you went for the proper lights and not the awful reflectors. I see quite a few of these on the m25 and they all have the base spec lights, which look terrible. I'm still amazed they even fit them to a car like this.

That is absolutely stunning!!

Here we go :D

Absolutely gorgeous! Personally, I wouldn't bother with tints and different wheels - it will look like you're just trying too hard to make it look "cooler", which will instantly mean it's actually less cool :)

I want to like these but that interior :(

Neighbour just took delivery of a black base spec SE and it looks cheaper than an old Mondeo from the outside...

This example on the other hand though, is quite the handsome thing. Amazing what a bit of bodykit and proper lights do! Heard good things, enjoy.

One thing I am doing is getting the windows tinted and found some 19"s for it thats about it.. I am impressed with the in control though you download an app and you can remote start the car and check where it has been and stuff

What? The first thing you're doing is going to break it? That's a shame :(

What wrong with the standard wheels? 18s are better than 19s.... 17s are better than 18s :p

Those windows look like they are already tinted or at least polarised... excessive tinting is illegal btw.

And the all new 7 Series :(

For a change, I agree with you... the new superglued tablet look is very silly... the last-gen integrated systems suited the cars so well (BMW at least).

I like the display in my A3, although an option to have it stay down would be nice. I lower mine the moment I get into the car and it opens/closes itself when I get a phone call.
