TV series you wish hadn't been cancelled...

Firefly, I have no words :( I was late to this, only watching it for the first time in 2012, could not believe it was only one season. I was gutted.

Stargate Atlantis. Not sure if this was cancelled, but, thought it could go on another season or two.

Friday Night Lights, again not sure if it was cancelled or just finished, but I would have happily watched another couple of seasons.

No Ordinary Family. I really wanted to see what happened next. A lot of people thought it was crap but I enjoyed it.

Utopia - uncompromising home-grown thriller. Unsettling and pretty violent and had a great plot that kept me hooked.

Legit - Jim Jeffries comedy that got canned after 2 series. Fish out of water setup about "Australian comedian" living in L.A., it was laugh-out-loud funny but with a surprising amount of warmth and humour about people living with disabilities without ever being mawkish or sickly-sweet. And it had John Ratzenburger in it, so it had to be watched.

Hello Ladies - extremely close in plot and character to Legit, including a lead character with disabilities, Stephen Merchant did a great job acting and writing with this comedy set in L.A. Less controversial plot-lines than Legit, but some excellent comedy writing. Canned after season 2, but they got to make the Hello Ladies movie which wrapped up the stories nicely. Recommended.

Boss with Kelsey Grammer. Absolutely gripping political drama, that i still think about often, it was left in a really interesting position for season 3 but never returned.

I enjoyed it felt like they were trying too hard to keep the story going in the end.

Another vote for Firefly.

Twin Peaks saddened me but they ended in a good place. And now more is being made, happy days \o/

Thought of another one - Newsroom. Season 3 really wasn't great but I think that is due to it being a part season and not having the time to fully flesh out some ideas.

For me right now I would have to say Hannibal. I really enjoyed that and think that - controversial opinion incoming - Mads Mikkelsen was a better Dr Lecter than Sir Anthony Hopkins was.

Firefly and Dollhouse.

Dollhouse was fair enough in the sense it never got the viewers it needed, but it was just starting to get interesting :(

Stargate Universe - honestly seemed like this was cancelled RIGHT as it started getting interesting.

This!

Such a damn waste - it may have started off **** but by the end of season 2 it really began to shine with some great episodes.

I think they could have gone on to achieve great things if it had been allowed a third series.
