I will hijack this thread to ask a question though, thats not worth starting a new thread for. I pay by Monthly DD just for convenience.

Now, I sold a car and bought a new one towards the end of the month - so obviously I paid for that month twice. Fair enough, I know that. V5 for the car I purchased was dated and signed at the end of the month but wasnt processed until the start of the following month - so the DD was taken, despite the change of owner being signed and dated something like the 29th.

Any reason I should expect or bother to try to get that £30 back?
